LIC Appoints Arindam Das Gupta as Executive Director (Investment – Front Office)
LIC has appointed Arindam Das Gupta as Executive Director (Investment – Front Office). He brings 35 years of experience in investment management and financial markets.
New Delhi: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced a key leadership update under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015. On December 04, 2025, Shri Arindam Das Gupta officially assumed charge as Executive Director (Investment – Front Office) and Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of LIC.
Before this appointment, Shri Das Gupta served as Director & Chief Executive Officer of LICHFL Asset Management Company Limited, a subsidiary of LIC. He brings over three decades of experience, having joined LIC in 1990 as an Assistant Administrative Officer.
Shri Das Gupta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for his deep understanding of financial markets and extensive investment management expertise. Notably, he previously held the position of Chief Investment Officer at LIC Pension Fund Limited, where he played a major role in improving the performance of multiple pension schemes.
According to LIC, his appointment will remain effective till the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
