ONGC appoints Bijay Rajeev as Executive Director. The 36‑year veteran brings strong mechanical engineering and production expertise to India’s oil & gas PSU.

New Delhi: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has announced the appointment of Shri Bijay Rajeev as Executive Director, one level below the Board, effective January 22, 2026.

According to the disclosure filed under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Shri Rajeev brings 36 years of extensive experience in production and operations across ONGC. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Bhagalpur University and an MBA in Marketing from IGNOU.

Shri Rajeev began his career as Assistant Executive Engineer (Production) in Hazira and has served in multiple locations, including Hazira, Baroda, Nazira, Ankleshwar, Delhi, and Mumbai, gaining comprehensive expertise in upstream operations and management.

ONGC shares are listed on the BSE (Scrip Code: 500312) and the National Stock Exchange of India (Symbol: ONGC). The company has completed all necessary filings with the stock exchanges and regulatory authorities.
