PESB Recommends New Chairman-cum-Managing Director for Hindustan Copper Limited

On December 18, 2024, the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) recommended Sanjiv Kumar Singh for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL). Singh is currently the Director (Mining) at HCL. He will be appointed as the next CMD after receiving the necessary clearances and approval from the ACC

The PESB was established to advise the government on appointments to top management positions in Central Public Sector Enterprises. The post of CMD at HCL became vacant after Arun Kumar Shukla retired on July 31, 2023.
