MMTC Appoints A.K.M. Kashyap as Government Nominee Director
MMTC Limited appoints A.K.M. Kashyap as Government Nominee Director effective December 16, 2025, as per SEBI disclosure norms.

New Delhi: State-owned trading company MMTC Limited has appointed Shri A.K.M. Kashyap as a Government Nominee Director on its Board with effect from December 16, 2025, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The appointment was disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and has been communicated to both the National Stock Exchange (NSE: MMTC) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 513377).
Shri Kashyap, aged 58, holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and is currently serving in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Since 2024, he has been overseeing key divisions including the AEG Wing, RTI Cell, and FT (State & Mineral) Wing.
He brings with him extensive experience in public administration, having served as Deputy Director General (Quality Assurance) in the Directorate General of Supplies & Disposals (DGS&D) with postings in Kolkata, Bhilai, and Delhi. He also served as Director (Clothing) in the Directorate General, NCC from October 2019 to March 2024.
The appointment has been made pursuant to Office Order No. 11/36/2001 dated November 25, 2025, and Shri Kashyap replaces Ms. Aishvarya Singh, Joint Secretary, on the Board. The company clarified that Shri Kashyap is not related to any existing directors of MMTC.
The Board approved the appointment through a resolution by circulation.
