Shri Chaudhari Shivraj Singh set to be next CMD at CMPDI Ltd
A total of 11 candidates have been shortlisted for the interview from reputed organizations like MECL, Coal India, SECL, NLC India Ltd, Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd, Central Coalfields Ltd, BCCL, and NTPC Ltd.
New Delhi, 11 October 2025: The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has recommended the name for the post of Chairman and Managing Director, Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited. Shri Chaudhari Shivraj Singh has been selected for the post. He is currently serving as General Manager (M) at Coal India Limited.
The current Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of CMPDI is Manoj Kumar, who assumed the additional charge on May 1, 2021, and was subsequently appointed to the role. The post is scheduled to become vacant on November 1, 2025, and the search for the next CMD was advertised in March 2025 by PESB.
