Shri Daiya P.L. assumes charge as Director of Gujarat State Financial Corporation

Gujarat, 22 May 2025: Shri Daiya P.L. has been nominated to the Board of Directors of the Gujarat State Financial Corporation by Life Insurance Corporation of India, Mumbai, under Section 10(d) of the State Financial Corporations Act, 1951.

He has taken charge as Director on 22nd May, 2025. Consequently, Shri Madhukar M Asthana ceased to be a Director with effect from 21st May, 2025.

He holds a B.Sc. degree and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. He started his career as a direct recruit officer of the 21st batch with the Life Insurance Corporation of India in 1997. He possesses 28 years' experience in various departments of LIC of India in different capacities.

Prior to joining as Senior Divisional Manager at Gandhinagar Divisional Office of LIC of India, he was holding the position of Senior Divisional Manager, Ahmedabad Division.

He is not holding Directorship in any other Company/Corporation,/ Association of Persons. He is also not holding shares of the Corporation in his individual capacity and is not related to any Director or Key Managerial Personnel of the Corporation.
