Shri Prem Singh Meena Joins RITES as Director (Projects)

New Delhi, March 19, 2026: RITES Limited today announced a key senior management change with the appointment of Shri Prem Singh Meena (DIN: 10855590) as Director (Projects). The appointment is effective immediately and will continue until his superannuation on June 30, 2028, or until further orders.

Simultaneously, Dr. Deepak Tripathi, who held additional charge as Director (Projects), has relinquished this responsibility following Shri Meena’s formal assumption of the role. The update reflects RITES’ commitment to strengthening senior management and enhancing project execution for rail infrastructure and metro initiatives.

Shri Meena, a 1990-batch IRSEE officer, brings over 34 years of experience in Traction Distribution, Traction Rolling Stocks, General Electrical Services, and Rail Infrastructure & Metro projects under the Ministry of Railways and RITES. Prior to this appointment, he served as Executive Director (Rail Infra, Metro & Project Co-ordination) at RITES Limited and is also the Nominee Director on the Board of REMC Limited, a RITES subsidiary.

His career highlights include managing railway electrification projects, siding works, signaling systems, metro PMCs, and business development initiatives. Shri Meena holds a graduation degree in Electrical Engineering from MNIT, Jaipur, and has completed advanced management programs at INSEAD, Singapore and ICLIF, Malaysia, along with Heavy Haul training at Southwest Jiaotong University, Beijing, China.
