Varun Kumar Shukla to be next CMD of Hindustan Salts Ltd

New Delhi: The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has recommended the name of Shri Varun Kumar Shukla as the Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Salts Ltd, a Schedule C company.

Shukla is currently serving as General Manager at Richardson and Cruddas (1972) Ltd.

A total of seven candidates were shortlisted for the interview. The candidates hailed from reputed public sector organisations like RINL, Defence Research and Development, and Richardson and Cruddas 1972 Ltd.
 

Shri Dipak Tryambak Patil was shortlisted from private organisation, Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private Ltd. He is serving as Deputy General Manager.

The term of current Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Salts Ltd is Commodore Kamlesh Kumar which came to end in August 2025 after which Commodore Girideep Singh has taken charge who is Indian Navy retired defence personnel.
