Anurag Garg appointed as new DG of NCB
He works as an Additional DG in the Border Security Force (BSF).
The New Delhi headquartered has appointed Anurag Garg (IPS: 1993: HP) as the new Director General of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) till 23.05.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
He works as an Additional DG in the Border Security Force (BSF).
The post of DG, NCB has been under ad hoc arrangement since the retirement of CRPF DG Anish Dayal Singh who was holding the additional charge after Satya Narayan Pradhan (IPS: 1988: JH) retired on 31.08.2024.
