BCCL distributed 1800 food packets and fruit juices
New Delhi: Continuing the efforts to offer relief measures under CSR, on 02.06.20 BCCL distributed 1800 food packets and fruit juices to migrants travelling from Jaipur to Guwahati (Train No. 04893) at 7:30 PM during its brief halt at Dhanbad junction. BCCL also had doctors on standby at the station for thermal screening and in case of exigency.
Till now (from 31.05.20 to 02.06.20) BCCL has distributed food packets and fruit juices to 9000 migrants travelling in 5 different Shramik Trains headed to their respective destinations.
These operations are being carried out by the executives of CSR dept BCCL in association with DRM Office, Indian Railways Dhanbad.
BCCL shall continue its efforts to provide relief to migrants on board various Shramik special trains routed through Dhanbad in the coming days.
