IndianOil Chairman inaugurates first women-run petrol pump

Uttar Pradesh: Shri Srikant Madhav Vaidya, Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation Limited inaugurated IndianOil's first women-run petrol pump on Saturday, Feb 27, 2021, in Gorakhpur district, Uttar Pradesh. This is yet another effort by IndianOil towards women's empowerment.
IndianOil women workforce have made an immense contribution to the progress of the country. In the near future, more IndianOil pumps will be run entirely by women power.
Indian Oil has been actively engaged in many corporate social responsibilities or social welfare activities across the nation. IndianOil’s key Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) thrust areas include 'Safe drinking water and protection of water resources', 'Healthcare and sanitation', 'Education and employment-enhancing vocational skills', 'Empowerment of women and socially/economically backward groups', etc.
