NHPC observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2020
Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC highlighted the theme “Satark Bharat, Samridh Bharat” and appealed to all employees to follow all procedures and guidelines in order to ensure transparency and accountability while working so that the goal towards the prosperity of the nation is achieved.
NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company and a ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Enterprise of the Government of India commenced the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2020 themed ‘Vigilant India, Prosperous India’ from 27th October to 2nd November 2020 at Corporate Office, Faridabad and its various power stations/ projects/ regional offices and field units on 27th October 2020.
On this occasion, Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC administered the oath of “Integrity Pledge” to the senior officers and employees at Corporate Office, Faridabad. Shri Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects), Shri N.K. Jain, Director (Personnel), Shri Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical), Shri R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance) and Shri A.K. Srivastava, CVO, NHPC were also present alongwith other senior NHPC officers and employees.
Speaking on the occasion Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC highlighted on the theme “Satark Bharat, Samridh Bharat” and appealed all employees to follow all procedures and guidelines in order to ensure transparency and accountability while working so that the goal towards the prosperity of the nation is achieved.
During the inaugural function, Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC also released ‘Chetna’, the e-Magazine of the NHPC Vigilance Division. During the Vigilance Awareness Week 2020, NHPC shall be organizing activities such as quizzes, debates, essay writing, poetry competitions etc. for its employees at Corporate Office and also across all it locations. The competitions shall be conducted on online platform keeping in view the ongoing Covid – 19 pandemic.
