NHPC providing basic protective items to stop spreading corona virus
New Delhi: NHPC’s Teesta-V Power Station located at Balutar, East Sikkim provided Face Masks, Hand Sanitizers, Hand Wash Liquid and Soaps to local people of Raley, Ralap, Singbel, Selabong, Samadong, Sokpey and other areas from 25th to 27th March 2020 under CSR & SD FY 2019-20 to fight against Corona Virus (COVID-2019). Shri Sahadev Khatua, Head of Power Station, Teesta-V PS, Balutar said that Social Distancing, Personal Hygiene and Sanitation are the key to break the transmission chain of Corona Virus.
He also congratulated medical services department of Teesta-V Power Station for their tireless efforts in creating awareness on Corona Virus. While receiving few items at BAC, Rakdong-Tintek Shri P Wangchen Namkarpa, BDO thanked NHPC for providing basic protective items to stop spreading Corona virus.
