Railway will run special train between Mumbai and Chapra, via Vasai Road
The railways has decided to run 2 special trains for the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand.
New Delhi: The railways has decided to run 2 special trains for the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand. The trains will run between Mumbai and Chhapra in Bihar via Vasai Road. According to a press note issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief
According to official notice by Western Railway, the trains are as under:
Train no 01197/98 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Chhapra Special
Train no 01197 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Chhapra Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14.30 hrs on Friday, 16th April 2021 and Wednesday, 21st April 2021 and will reach Chhapra at 10.50 hrs on Sunday, 18th April 2021 & Friday, 23rd April, 2021 respectively. Similarly, train no 01198 Chhapra - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will depart from Chhapra on Monday, 19th April 2021 at 05.40 hrs and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.40 hrs third day. This train will halt at Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, and Nagda stations over Western Rly. This train comprises AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and Second Class Seating coaches.
Train no 01207/08 Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus - Chhapra Special
Train no 01207 Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Chhapra Special will depart from Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on Saturday, 17th April 2021 at 23.45 hrs and will reach Chhapra at 00.15 hrs on Tuesday, 20th April 2021. Similarly, train no 01208 Chhapra Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Special will depart from Chhapra on Tuesday, 20th April 2021 at 16.40 hrs and will reach Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 15.20 hrs on the third day. This train will halt at Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, and Nagda stations over Western Rly. This train comprises AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class, and Second Class Seating coaches.
Western Railways mentioned, "It is worth mentioning that only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains. Passengers are requested by Western Railway, to adhere to all norms, SOPS related to COVID-19 during the boarding, travel, and at the destination."
