Shri Nand Lal Sharma CMD SJVN inaugurated an Exhibition-cum-Outreach Program Sauhard 2.0
Shimla: an Exhibition-cum-Outreach Program Sauhard 2.0 was inaugurated by Shri. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director SJVN at Shakti Sadan, SJVN Corporate Headquarters, Shimla.
Under My Social Responsibility, a concept initiated by visionary Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director (SJVN), all the items voluntarily donated by employees of SJVN are displayed in an exhibition and will be further distributed to the low income outsourced employees deployed by various contractors in SJVN. During the opening ceremony Sh. R.K. Bansal Director (Electrical), Smt. Geeta Kapur Director (Personnel), Sh. S.P. Bansal Director (Civil) and Sh. A.K. Singh Director (Finance) were also present along with other senior officers.
Sauhard 1.0 was organised last year under My Social Responsibility wherein more than 140 mementos received by Shri Nand Lal Sharma, CMD, SJVN, on various occasions from outside agencies, organizations and groups were donated.
In Sauhard 2.0, around 200 mementos donated by employees are displayed in an exhibition at Multipurpose Hall, Shakti Sadan, SJVN Corporate Headquarters, Shimla. Adhering to norms of social distancing floor wise time slots have been allotted to the employees to visit the exhibition. In the challenging circumstances arisen due to outbreak of global pandemic, these items will be donated through Lucky Draw to the outsourced employees of various contractors in SJVN on 8th July 2020.
