Shri S. N. Tiwari Director CIL visit to SECL
New Delhi: Shri. S. N. Tiwari, Director (Marketing), CIL was on a two day visit to SECL on 27th and 28th August 2020. On the first day i.e., 27.08.20, he visited Gevra, Kusmunda and Dipka mines and assessed the coal crushing and evacuation infrastructure available. He suggested ways and means to further strengthen dispatch facilities and increase dispatch.
On the second day of the visit, Shri. S. N. Tiwari, Director (Marketing), CIL chaired a Review meeting with the HODs in SECL HQ. He mainly emphasized on meeting the annual dispatch targets of SECL and consequently of CIL. Thereafter, he chaired a stake holders meet with representatives of Sponge Iron, Cement and Aluminum company representatives. He heard their suggestions and assured them to assimilate those in the present system. Thereafter, he held a meeting with General Managers and Area Finance Managers from all SECL areas.
He briefed them about the future plans and called upon everyone to contribute like each year, or perhaps more to serve coal customers more and better. Finally, he expressed his satisfaction over the way SECL has triumphed over years and stood as the highest coal producing subsidiary of Coal India Limited.
