Shri Sanjay Malhotra takes charge as CMD of REC Limited

New Delhi: Shri Sanjay Malhotra (IAS), Additional Secretary Power has taken over as CMD of REC Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Power, on Tuesday.
Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (AAC) approved the appointment a week ago. Earlier the additional charge of the CMD was held by Shri Sanjeev Kumar Gupta since June 13.
Shri Sanjay Malhotra is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Rajasthan cadre. Earlier he served as Secretary in the state government of Rajasthan. he completed his graduation in Engineering in Computer Science (B Tech) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
