ACC approved in-situ up-gradation in Rank & Pay: Know full details

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Department of Personnel and Training on Monday has approved in-situ up-gradation of the officers to the level of Special Secretary in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India, as a measure personal to them, by temporarily upgrading the posts held by them, the following officers named:

(i) Shri Sanjay Malhotra, lAS (RJ:90), Chairman and Managing Director, REC Ltd., Ministry of Power as Chairman and Managing Director, REC Ltd., Ministry of Power in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India,  
(ii) Shri Alkesh Kumar Sharma, lAS (KL:90), Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat as Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat.
(iii) Shri Raj Kumar Goyal, lAS (JK:90), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs as Special Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs.
(iv) Shri Manoj Ahuja, lAS (OR:90), Chairman, Central Board of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education as Chairman, Central Board of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
(v) Shri Rajesh Kumar Chaudhry, IFoS (PB:87), Additional Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance as Special Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance.
(vi) Ms. Annie George Mathew, IAAS (88), Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance as Special Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.
(vii) Ms. Meera Swamp, IAAS (88), Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance as Special Secretary and Financial Adviser, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.
(viii) Shri Shashank Priya, IRS (C&IT:88), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Commerce & Industry as Special Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
