Ajay Kumar Sharma Director Personnel, SJVN inaugurated Biodiversity Park
The Park has been developed by SJVN under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, with an investment of Rs 2.08 crores.
Shimla: As part of the nationwide Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign 2024, Director (Personnel), SJVN & Chairman of SJVN Foundation, Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, inaugurated a Biodiversity Park near Corporate Headquarters in Shimla. The Park has been developed by SJVN under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, with an investment of Rs 2.08 crores.
The Biodiversity Park features a Children's Park and an Open Gym. The Park also houses a 1.3 kW Model of a Turbine of a Hydro Power station for educational purposes. Adjacent to Bio-Diversity Park, a wall painting on the theme 'Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskar Swachhata' has also been made for spreading the message of cleanliness.

These Workers have been instrumental in keeping the designated areas such as Malyana Nallah and Dhobhi Ghat Nallah clean. The Sanitation Workers were honored with mementos by Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) recognizing their valuable contribution towards maintaining the cleanliness of Shimla.

Dr. Kriti Sharma, Medical Officer, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Shimla, conducted an awareness session on personal hygiene, community sanitation and preventive measures for Tuberculosis and HIV.
To commemorate National volunteer blood donation day Sh. Ajay Sharma administered a pledge to all the employees to promote and raised awareness for blood donation.
