Amitabh Tripathi recommended for Director (Commercial & HRD), WAPCOS

New Delhi: Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on August 28, 2024 recommended the name of Amitabh Tripathi for the post of Director (Commercial & HRD), WAPCOS Limited (Schedule B). A panel of experts convened for the selection meeting, where a total of eleven candidates were interviewed for the coveted post.

Six out of Eleven were from WAPCOS including Dr. Shambhu Azad, Chief Executive Director (WRD), Pradeep Kumar, Senior Executive Director North East, Administration & OLI, Gurugram, Amitabh Tripathi, Senior Executive Director (Head of Centre for Hydropower), Santosh Kumar Srivastava, Senior Executive Director (Power), Manoj Nagar, General Manager, Arvind Dev, General Manager (E&M).

Apart from them Dharmendra Mudgal, Executive Director (Civil), National Projects Construction Corporation Limited, Amit Prakash, Senior General Manager Delhi, Engineers India Limited, Kamlesh Kukreti, Senior General Manager (Operations), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, N Arvind, Chief General Manager (Operations), Steel Authority Of India Limited (Sail), Prasanta Kumar Jena, General Manager (Operation & Projects), NTPC Limited were interviewed in the selection meeting.
