Baseline Survey for Girl Empowerment Mission at NTPC Bongaigaon
Resource persons from GYT Enterprises (nodal agency for the GEM programme at NTPC-Bongaigaon) interacted with girls, teachers and parents.
The Baseline Survey for Girls Empowerment Mission (GEM) programme was conducted at NTPC Bongaigaon on 3rd May,2024. Aimed at empowering the government. School girls from nearby villages of NTPC-Bongaigaon, the programme attracted 13 girl students along with Parents and Teachers.

The girls are also exposed to similar programmes conducted in other NTPC projects through Video screening. Sample test on the academic subjects was conducted for the girl students to assess their strength and subsequently design the curriculum for the upcoming Four-Week workshop beginning from July,2024.
