New Delhi: The meeting of the tripartite safety committee between Bharat Coking Coal Limited, Directorate General of Mines Safety, and representatives of the trade union was held on 14.02.2022 under the chairmanship of Shri Samiran Dutta, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of BCCL at Koyla Bhawan Auditorium.

All Heads of Departments and Officers of Internal Security Organization of BCCL Shri R P Singh, KIMP (HMS) Shri Vinod Mishra, UCWU (AITUC), Shri KP Gupta, DCKS/BMS, Shri RK Tiwari, BCMU Shri AM Pal, BCKU on behalf of the Union and Trade Union and Shri Ranjay Kumar, HMS/JMS were present on the occasion.

On this occasion, Chairman-cum-Managing Director Mr. Samiran Dutta said that if BCCL Management, DGMS, and labor representatives together move towards safety-related advice/suggestions, then we will be able to achieve our zero damage goal of safety and mine safety. The officers of Directorate General gave many important guidelines and suggestions related to Electrical, Mining, VTC, PME/IME, etc.

Director Technical (Operations) Shri Chanchal Goswami said that the video clips related to security should be shown through animation and there should be wide circulation among the concerned personnel so that awareness about safety should be increased. He said that how many hall roads are there with the company so that adequate lighting can be arranged. The place has been selected for the expansion of the Vishwakarma project located in Kusunda area and soon the shifting of the residents will be done. The decisions taken in the meetings of the Security Committee should be implemented and a written copy of the same should be sent to the Headquarters so that he can also be informed about it in the next security meeting at the Headquarters. will be provided

On this occasion, Director (Technical) Planning and Projects Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh said that the production of our company is high, so we have to be aware of safety at all times.

Director (Personnel) Shri PVKR Mallikarjuna Rao said that the drivers have been selected and their posting will be done soon and 30 doctors have been selected and many of them have contributed. Our company's medical team has made a significant contribution during the ongoing global pandemic Covid-19 and as a result of this, the death of patients infected with Covid-19 in our hospitals has reduced significantly, for this congratulations to the medical team.

In the above meeting, Mr. Sunil Nigam, General Manager (Security and Rescue), welcomed the members present and Mr. Kishore Yadav conducted the meeting and he gave detailed information about the last meeting.
