BCCL concludes Annual Mine Safety Week 2019-20
Jharkhand: BCCL concludes the "Annual Mine Safety Week 2019-20" with a concluding ceremony held at Sijua Stadium on 21.02.2021. Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General, DGMS attended the event as the Chief Guest.
The program was launched by lighting the lamp by Mr. Arvid Kumar, a security pledge was taken under the leadership of Singh, General Manager (Security), BCCL. A minute of silence was also observed in memory of the martyrs associated with coal production.
During the program, a brief discussion was held on the current security situation of the company by Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Director (Operations), BCCL and after that, a security souvenir and calendar was also released. A documentary film on the topic "BCCL-Khan to Bazaar Tak" was also performed on the occasion. Mr. D.B. Nayak, DDG (Yan); Shri Arvind Kumar, DDG (CZ); Mr. P.M. Prasad, CMD, BCCL and Shri Prabhat Kumar, DG, DGMS shared their views.
On this occasion, Mr. Prabhat Kumar, DG, DGMS; Mr. P.M. Prasad, CMD, BCCL; Shri Arvind Kumar, DDG (CZ); Mr. D.B. Nayak, DDG (Yan); Shri Rakesh Kumar, Director (Operations), BCCL; Shri Sameeran Dutta, Director (Finance), BCCL; Shri Kumar Animesh, CVO, BCCL and Central Advisory Committee and Welfare Board, Honorable Members of BCCL and officers and employees of the company were also present.
At the end of the program, the cultural and prize-distribution (trade test and overall) program was organized. The completion of this program Shri A. Dwivedi, General Manager, Sijua Region, BCCL with a vote of thanks.
