BDL concludes Vigilance Awareness Week on a high note
An On-line Vendor Meet was held during the week to spread awareness among vendors of the Company.
New Delhi: Celebrations of the Vigilance Awareness Week - 2021 at Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) concluded on a high note today. Prof (Dr) S Ramachandram, Vice Chancellor, Anurag University and former Vice Chancellor, Osmania University delivered a Guest Lecture on “Emerging Technology and Data Security” as a part of valedictory function.
“Chetana”, an annual newsletter published by Vigilance Department of BDL, was released by the Chief Guest Prof (Dr) S Ramachandram, in the presence of Cmde Siddharth Mishra (Retd), CMD, BDL, Shri N P Diwakar, Director (Technical), Shri P. Radha Krishna, Director (Production), Shri N Srinivasulu, Director (Finance), Dr Vennam Upender, IPoS, Chief Vigilance Officer, BDL, Commodore A Madhava Rao (Retd), Executive Director (Kanchanbagh Unit), and senior officials of the Company.
During the week-long celebrations, competitions on elocution, slogan writing, poster / collage making and Quiz were held for employees of the Company, their spouses & children and students of DAV School, Bhanur.
Workshops / Sensitization programme regarding provisions under PIDPI (Public Interest Disclosure & Protection of Informers) resolution and related information was held during the week.
An On-line Vendor Meet was held during the week to spread awareness among vendors of the Company.
A Gram Sabha was organized at Bhanur Village Sanga Reddy District, Telangana as a measure to spread awareness in Gram Panchayat on ill-effects of Corruption.
To spread vigilance awareness among different strata of the society, a walkathon was organized at BDL, Kanchanbagh Unit.
BDL has observed Vigilance Awareness Week on the theme “Independent India @ 75: Self Reliance with Integrity” from 26 Oct to 01 Nov 2021.
