BPCL Clinches Runners-Up Position at 27th PSPB Veterans Cricket Tournament

It was a thrilling journey for Team BPCL at the 27th PSPB Veterans Cricket Tournament hosted by BPCL in Guwahati! Despite a valiant effort, BPCL narrowly missed the title, finishing as the runner-up after a fiercely contested final against ONGC.

In the finals, BPCL showcased exemplary batting prowess, led by Captain Deepak Jain's explosive start with a quick-fire 25 runs. Not to be outdone, Rajendra Singh stole the show with the highest score of 41, displaying remarkable skill and determination on the field.

Throughout the tournament, where 8 oil PSUs participated, BPCL displayed outstanding sportsmanship and teamwork, securing victories against formidable opponents on their path to the finals. 
Rajendra Singh, Sangram Sawant, Brij Dutta, C Deshpande, Padmakar, Pradip Raha and Kirit Patil also deserve special mention for their stellar batting and bowling displays, in the tournament. Additionally, Deepak Jain's exceptional wicket-keeping skills added immense value to the team's overall performance.
