Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath reviewed through video conferencing road projects operated and proposed NHAI
New Delhi: Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath on Monday reviewed the progress of various road projects operated and proposed Indian National Highway Authority (NHAI) through video conferencing. Chief Minister clarified that infrastructure development region is required, but it should not be at the cost of environment. Balance of development and environment is government's top priority.
Chief Minister gave instructions that trees should be cut in an inevitable situation for any project. Plantation should be ensured in more number of trees that are cut. He clarified that the target of 35 million plantation has been set in the state this year.
Determining responsibility for timely disposal of projects, Chief Minister directed that the District Collector weekly and Chief Secretary should take an in-depth review of the works at partial level. Quick resolution of pending subjects should be ensured at any level.
Chief Minister said that better coordination between NHAI and district administration should be established, so that road projects are completed without any delay. These projects are the basis of economic growth and industrial expansion of Uttar Pradesh.
For transparency in these projects of public interest, Chief Minister ji instructed to communicate directly with farmers for land acquisition. Intervention of intervention will not be tolerated under any circumstances. No compromise with the quality and timing of the projects.
