NEW DELHI-The Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Shri Bhola Singh had a courtesy meeting with Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh, in Bhopal on Friday.
During the meeting, CMD NCL apprised the Chief Secretary of the state about the company's coal production, dispatch, and operations.
CMD NCL had a positive discussion with CS over developing state of art health, education, employment facilities in Singrauli district. During the meeting, CMD NCL also apprised NCL’s CSR Initiatives for the social upliftment of the people in Singrauli.
CMD NCL Shri Bhola Singh also met the DGP of Madhya Pradesh State Shri Vivek Johri and apprised him about the role of NCL in the energy security of the nation.
In the slew of meetings, CMD also met State Mining Secretary Shri Sukhveer Singh and discussed NCL's mining activity in the region along with the company's Sustainable development initiative like making Sand from Overburden. The move was appreciated by the Mining Secretary.
NCL, a coal mining giant along with coal production, is committed to sustainable mining & Environmental protection in the Singrauli region.
With varied pro-environmental initiatives, vis-a-vis First Mile Connectivity Projects, Green Transportation using MGR and BPC, Massive Plantation, NCL is also working on separate coal corridor and robust road network for the local people.
