CMFRI won Regional Official Language Award
Kochi: Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute has won the Regional Official Language Award of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for the period 2019-20 among the Central Govt. Organizations in South-West Region.
The CMFRI was established by the Government of India on February 3rd, 1947 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and later it joined the ICAR family in 1967. During the course of over 65 years, the Institute has emerged as a leading tropical marine fisheries research institute in the world.
