Coal India Ltd declares quarterly result of Oct-Dec period for FY24
The net sales of the state-owned company have reported around Rs 33,011.11 crore, compared to Rs 32,429.46 crore in the Q3FY23.
Coal India Ltd has announced its quarterly result for the third session regarding Regulation 30 of Listing Regulations 2015. The net total profit is around Rs 9,016.95 crore for the nine months ending 31 December 2023 comprising profit and loss, as against 7749.49 crore of the corresponding previous fiscal year.
The net sales of the state-owned company have reported around Rs 33,011.11 crore, compared to Rs 32,429.46 crore in the Q3FY23. Similarly, the Profit before Tax accounts for Rs 12,374.93 crore against 10,593.68 in Q3FY23. Meanwhile, the profit is raised about 1.25% above for the particular respective third quarter of the current fiscal year i.e., Rs 9,093.69 crore from Rs 7,749.49 crore of the previous fiscal year.
The production of Raw Coal accounted for 198.994 MT as against 180.064 MT in the previous fiscal year. While Off take [Raw Coal] is reported around 191.195 MT. The FSA for the third quarter is 172.30MT, the E-auction of the Raw coal is around 15.76 MT, and net sales for both are Rs 26,395.46 crore and Rs 5233.39 crore for the October-December period.

The EBITDA margin stood at 35.4% in the reporting quarter compared to 32.6% in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

The company has also declared its second interim dividend for the financial year 2023-24 at Rs 5.25 per share. The dividend will be paid on March 12.
