NEW DELHI-Union Coal minister Shri Pralhad Joshi launched NLC INDIA Limited's new policy of Rehabilitation and Resettlement, from New Delhi today. Govt led by PM Narendra Modi ji is committed to welfare of all sections of society. This new policy enhances amenities to Project Affected Families.
The new R&R policy will enhance land compensation:
??Rs.23 lakhs/acre if RFCTLARR provisions less
??Rs 40 lakhs/acre for rural area
??Rs 75 lakhs/acre for urban area
Monthly annuity of Rs 7000 - 10,000 for 20 yrs will be given in lieu of employment with biennial increments.
As per entitlement, a 1000 sq.ft. house will be provided to land owners for their resettlement. The house will include a cowshed to ensure sustainable livelihood.
The new policy has many more provisions to ensure relocated families continue to enjoy dignity of life.
