Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi paid floral tributes at Martyrs Memorial, CIL Hq
He later administered the ‘Swachhta Pledge’ to the CIL Hq. employees and honored the ‘Swachhta Warriors’ on the occasion.
Kolkata: Shri. Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Minister of Coal, Mines & Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of India, paid floral tributes at the Martyrs Memorial at Coal India Hqrs. in Kolkata. As part of the run-up to the special campaign 2.0 of the Swachh Bharat Mission, he handed over office waste for recycling at CIL Hqrs.
He later administered the ‘Swachhta Pledge’ to the CIL Hq. employees and honored the ‘Swachhta Warriors’ on the occasion.
Shri. Joshi also inaugurated the CAAQMS (Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station) portal, which updates air quality in real time from 65 CAAQMS across CIL operations, in its companies.
The Hon’ble Minister then chaired a review meeting of Coal India Ltd. Shri. Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, CIL, Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director – Technical / Marketing, CIL, Shri. Debasish Nanda, Director – Business Development, CIL, Shri. Lakshmanan Chandrasekar, CVO, CIL and senior management of CIL were present on the occasion.
