CWC offered WMS to Bihar state for farmers benefit
New Delhi: Central Warehousing Corporation, a public Warehouse operator offered its Warehouse Management System (WMS) to Bihar State Warehousing Corporation (BSWC), as per the direction of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution for the benefit of farmers at large wherein warehouses across Bihar State shall be digitized and adopt paperless, efficient and transparent WMS system.
This WMS system shall be rolled out at all State Warehousing Corporations across PAN India to draw the benefit of computerization.
In this regard, Smt. Bandana Preyashi, IAS, Secretary, Co-operative Department, Govt. of Bihar-cum- Chairman, BSWC; Shri Ashutosh Kumar Verma, BAS, MD, BSWC, and software vendor signed an agreement in the presence of Secretary, Co-operative Department, Government of Bihar. CWC congratulate the pilot roll-out of WMS across the State of Bihar.
