Deepak Gupta, Director (Projects), GAIL attends 19th Pipeline Technology Conference in Berlin
Shri Deepak Gupta was invited as an esteemed speaker in the panel discussion on ‘Pipeline Resilience: Ensuring a Safe and Secure Energy Supply’ along with eminent co-panellists from the global pipeline industry.
New Delhi: Shri Deepak Gupta, Director (Projects), GAIL attended the 19th Pipeline Technology Conference held in Berlin from 8th to 11th April 2024, along with the GAIL team. Shri Deepak Gupta was invited as an esteemed speaker in the panel discussion on ‘Pipeline Resilience: Ensuring a Safe and Secure Energy Supply’ along with eminent co-panellists from the global pipeline industry.

He highlighted the robustness of design and construction and usage of the latest technology in integrity management and pipeline operations to ensure ‘pipeline resilience’. He also stressed the need for collaboration and knowledge sharing among the pipeline fraternity to mitigate multiple challenges encountered during the various stages of these projects.

As he spoke about the barriers for women in the construction industry, more specifically in pipeline projects, he assured that women's representation is on the rise on all levels. He further urged for enhanced sensitivity and inclusion of women in decision-making and in filling the competency gaps.
