Deepti Mahila Samithi Joins The Fight Against COVID-19 By Distributing 5000 Masks
Ramagundam: Deepti Mahila Samithi, Ladies club of NTPC-Ramagundam, has pitched in to shore up the national fight against COVID-19 by distributing 5000 cotton mask on April 30, 2020. Significantly, these masks are stitched by the volunteer members of the ladies club as well as nearby women who received tailoring training.
Chief Guest of the occasion, Shri Raj Kumar, ED-Ramagundam & Telangana appreciated the timely and good gesture from ladies club to fight against Coronavirus. Shri Raj Kumar alongwith Deepti Mahila Samithi President Smt Sadhana Rajkumar and senior officials distributed the masks among employees and contract workers. Sharing her view, Smt Sadhana Rajkumar appreciated the volunteer members of the ladies club and other women who responded positively and stitched the masks in short notice.
The occasion also marked distribution of Essential Grocery Items among 150 needy persons. CGM (Project) Shri Prem Prakash; GM (Operation) Shri B C Polai; Dr Sashmita Dash, CMO; GM-TS Shri P K Laad; Head of HR Shri A K Jadli; Office bearers of Deepthi Mahila Samithi and Union and employees were present on the occasion.
