The railways on monday loaded the half of the dozen freight trains and resumes the operations, it was also mentioned by the Indian Railways that there will be normalisation of rail transport in the state by Tuesday or at best by Wednesday.

According to the Railway Ministry sources, at least 4,000 freight trains could not be operated due to this long protest and the total revenue loss wasnearly Rs 2,200 crore. “Revenue loss is one part, but the biggest worry was the economy getting hit due to no movement of essential items and finished products from the state.
