Digital Dispensary in SECL will facilitate coal workers
New Delhi: Coal workers will get treatment facilities from specialist doctors through a telemedicine terminal with a video conferencing facility. Vikas Nagar dispensary located in the Kusmunda area of ??SECL will be made a digital dispensary. Coal India has issued LOA for starting a digital dispensary.
With this, coal workers will get treatment from specialist doctors through a telemedicine terminal with a video conferencing facility. With this unique initiative of Coal India, even those coal workers who work in remote mines will get medical advice from specialist doctors in regional or central hospitals.
How will digital dispensaries work?
In digital dispensaries, the patient will get the facility of treatment from him very easily without visiting a specialist doctor. For this, they only have to reach the digital dispensary. The digital dispensary will have a telemedicine terminal. The para-medical staff of the dispensary will provide medical consultation to the patient from the specialist doctor through video conferencing from this telemedicine terminal.
Also, based on the e-slip given by the doctor, the IoT machine installed in the digital dispensary will prepare the patient's digital report within 15 minutes after conducting necessary examinations (besides X-ray and ultrasound). Based on the report, the specialist doctor will give medicine to the patient. From the patient's arrival at the dispensary, the treatment, examination, and giving of medicine will be completed in 30 to 45 minutes.
25 dispensaries of various subsidiaries across Coal India will soon function as digital dispensaries.
