ECIL CSR: Handed Over Medical Equipments to District Medical & Health Officer
NEW DELHI-Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Hyderabad, a Central Public Sector Enterprise, under the Department of Atomic Energy, GoI. ECIL under it's CSR activities for FY 2021-22 had procured and Handed Over the following Medical Equipments to District Medical & Health Officer in the presence of District Collector on 22.03.2022 for use in PHC's & CHC's at Bhadradri Kothagudem District, Telangana (Aspirational District).
a)Ultra Sound Scanning Machine with Printer – 4 No.’s
b)Autoclave with Dressing Drum – 42 No.’s
c)Fetal Doppler – 29 No.’s
During the handing over ceremony, ECIL team has conveyed that every year ECIL takes-up CSR initiatives in a project mode to ensure long term sustainability of the project so as to reach it’s benefits to large number of people.
Based on the healthcare requirements given by District Administration, the above equipments were procured by ECIL and are handed over to District Administration.
These equipments were provided in order to reduce the prenatal deaths which are high in the District due to lack of proper medical equipments for investigation and monitoring the health of pregnant women & child.
ECIL has assured that necessary training, if required will also be arranged.
Shri Anudeep Durishetty, IAS, District Collector has thanked ECIL for choosing Bhadradri Kothagudem District (Aspirational District) for conducting ECIL CSR Programmes.
He has opined that more such initiatives are required for the District to improve the standards of living in the communities by providing and developing the basic infrastructure.
ECIL is requested to undertake some more initiatives in the next financial year also.
