First Mine Agents’ Conclave at Coal Mining HQ
Ranchi: The 1st Mine Agents’ Conclave was organized at Coal Mining Headquarters (CMHQ), Ranchi on 28.03.2022 (Monday), under the Chairmanship of Shri Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining). Mine Agents of Pakri-Barwadih, Dulanga, Talaipalli, Chatti-Bariatu, Kerandari, and Badam Coal mining projects participated along with Heads of Mining, Contracts, Finance, HR, Safety from CMHQ, Ranchi.
RED (Coal Mining) congratulated NTPC Coal Mining Team for achieving the annual coal production of 13.82 MMT till 27th March’22 against target of 13.25 MMT in FY 21-22. He also apprised about the targets for coal production for FY 22-23 asked by the Ministry of Power and advised the Mine Agents to gear up and take necessary actions in their respective mines for meeting the targets.
During the meeting, project-wise various issues related to mining, safety, and techno-commercial were discussed and deliberated in detail. RED (Coal Mining), urged to conduct this conclave at regular intervals so that this forum shall be a good platform for knowledge sharing of different mines.
A presentation by TATA Steel (Natural Resource Division) was also organized in the Conclave.
