Geeta Kapur, CMD, SJVN inaugurated 20th edition of Vendor Development Meet
In her inaugural address, Smt. Geeta Kapur, stated that by organizing such Meets, SJVN aims to foster a vibrant ecosystem of knowledge sharing and best practices.
SHIMLA: SJVN today organized 20 th edition of Vendor Development Meet for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at Hotel Shivalik View, Chandigarh. Smt. Geeta Kapur , Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.
In her inaugural address, Smt. Geeta Kapur, stated that by organizing such Meets, SJVN aims to foster a vibrant ecosystem of knowledge sharing and best practices. These programs help in identifying emerging demands of buyer organizations while showcasing the capabilities of the MSMEs. This has helped in raising awareness about the e-Procurement process of SJVN and has strengthened the partnership with the vendors, partners and stakeholders who have played a pivotal role in the success and growth of the company.

Rajiv Kumar, Head of Project (SDHEP), Sh. Vikas Marwah, Head of Project (RHPS), Sh. Jaswant Kapoor, Head of Chenab Projects, Sh. Sunil Choudhary, Head of Project (LHEP Stage-I), other senior officials from SJVN and other government organizations were also present.

This was followed by interactive Q&A and brainstorming sessions aimed at raising awareness about the e-Procurement process at SJVN. Post event, the positive feedback received from the participants indicates that the program is very useful in enhancing knowledge and also in empowering the MSMEs.
