Govt extends SECL CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra's Tenure
The Board is confident that Dr. Mishra will continue to lead SECL to greater heights in the coming years.
New Delhi: The Board of Directors of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Director (Finance) Mr. G. Srinivasan, Director (Planning/Projects) Mr SN Kapri, and Director (Personnel) congratulated CMD SECL Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra on his tenure extension by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
The Board expressed its appreciation for the outstanding work done by Dr. Mishra during his previous tenure as CMD. Under his leadership, SECL has achieved record production and productivity and has also made significant progress in safety and environmental initiatives.
The Board is confident that Dr. Mishra will continue to lead SECL to greater heights in the coming years.
The Director, Ministry of Coal has conveyed the approval of Appointment Committee of the Cabinet for extension of tenure of Mishra beyond August 19, 2023 till date of his superannuation till January 31, 2025, Coal India said in an order on Wednesday.
