IndianOil Refineries HQs Celebrates World Environment Day 2024
Mr. Senthil Kumar N administered the World Environment Day and Mission Life pledge, reaffirming the company's dedication to environmental protection
New Delhi, June 5, 2024: Mr. Senthil Kumar N, Director (Pipelines) holding additional charge of Director (Refineries), IndianOil led the World Environment Day celebrations at IndianOil Refineries HQs. The event, began with a tree plantation drive, symbolizing IndianOil's commitment to enhancing green cover.
Mr. Senthil Kumar N administered the World Environment Day and Mission Life pledge, reaffirming the company's dedication to environmental protection. In his address, he emphasized the urgency of protecting our planet and detailed IndianOil's sustainability initiatives, including land restoration, afforestation, wastewater reuse, and the goal of achieving Net Zero emissions. He also drew from ancient Vedic teachings to inspire zero tolerance for environmental violations.

"Parivesh," an informative publication on WED theme of land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience packed with environment related matters and IOCL’s sustainability initiatives along with six thematic posters were also unveiled. Additionally, an environmental quiz, EcoQuest, was launched on the X platform.
