New Delhi: Shri M. Nagaraju, Additional Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Coal addressed the “Industry Interaction on the Scheme of Financial Support to Surface Coal Gasification Projects” in Mumbai. He elaborated on the coal gasification projects and stated that products derived from coal gasification hold significant market potential in India as they are currently met through imports.
He highlighted the Government’s initiatives on coal gasification projects in a special context to the government’s recently approved Rs 8,500 crore scheme to promote these projects.
