NALCO employees get special casual leave to vote in general election

The company has informed through exchange filing about the Grant of Special Casual leave to employees to exercise their franchise in a constituency other than the location of their headquarters.

The Competent Authority of government has approved the extension of one day of Special Casual Leave (SCL)on the day of polling to facilitate the employees who are ordinarily residents of and registered as a voter in a constituency other than the location of their headquarters to exercise their franchise in the simultaneous General Election to Lok Sabha and Constituent Assemblies, 2024.

In order to avail, of the SCL, the concerned employees may be advised to fill up a declaration in the attached format along with a copy of the Voter ID and a copy of online voter information.

Furthermore, to facilitate the employees of different units and regional offices to exercise their franchise in the simultaneous General Election to Lok Sabha and Constituent Assemblies,2024 and in compliance with the Peoples' Representation Amendment Act,1996 the Competent Authority has approved to declare one day additional Public Holiday on the day of polling as mentioned below.
