Naval Exercise Prasthan at ONGC’s R 12A Ratna Platform
New Delhi: Naval Exercise Prasthan-02/23 completed at ONGC’s R 12A Ratna Platform in Mumbai Offshore on 8 December 2023.
During Phase-I at R 12A Ratna platform, MARCOS commandoes executed precision operations for Neutralization, Medevac, Firefighting, Oil spill containment, and Man overboard recovery.

In Phase-II, the focus shifted to demonstrating ERP responses to Severe Cyclones, Vessel Collisions, and Platform Abandonment drills. Precision handling of Weather Warning and Drifting Vessel scenarios prioritised.
