Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar unveiled Nibe Defence and Aerospace Plant, aiming for Self-reliant

Chief of Naval Staff appreciated the role of the Indian defence industry in achieving self-reliance in the field of Defence sector to garnish the vision of 2047 while establishing the manufacturing plant of Nibe Defence and Aerospace Limited in Pune.

The initiative is claimed to be accomplished in a very short time facilitating the vision of self-reliance in the defence sector. The mission will furnish the need for defence equipment and machines. This is a fully automated facility and it will make a substantial difference in the ability to make weapon-grade equipment for ships, airframes, weapon systems on board ships or submarines, torpedo tubes, and anything that requires very high precision.

The initiative is committed to being part of the national leadership which will make a big difference in the Indian Armed Forces future probability. Meanwhile, as per sources, the Indian Navy is going to carry out major operations involving the fleets of both of its aircraft carriers off the west coast in the next ten days.

Exercise Milan 2024 edition, of the Indian Navy’s [IN] Multilateral Naval Exercise [MILAN] will be hosted in Visakhapatnam from February 19 to 27. The exercise will include a variety of exercises, including seamanship drills, tactical maneuvers, and simulations of complex operational scenarios. The participating aircraft carriers include INS Vikramaditya and indigenously made INS Vikrant.
