New Delhi: National Productivity Week was launched at the headquarters of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna company of the Government of India, on Monday. On this occasion, CMD NCL Mr. Manish Kumar inaugurated the program by hoisting the flag. Director (Technical/Operations), NCL Mr. Jitendra Malik, Head of Department of Headquarters, Labor Union representatives and other officers and employees were also present during the program.
This year this week is being celebrated on the theme Innovate, Demonstrate, Elevate, and Advance (IDEA).
Read Also : IndusInd Bank Q1 FY25 results, net profit at 2% YoYCMD NCL Shri Manish Kumar, who participated as the chief guest in the inauguration ceremony organized at NCL Headquarters, underlined NCL's excellent performance in production, productivity, dispatch and overload removal and said that NCL has met all the standards along with environmental protection. Shri Kumar said that NCL is continuously making efforts towards green mining and net zero along with providing high quality coal to the customers. He also called upon all present to give a new dimension to productivity by continuously improving their work.

He took an oath to contribute towards the cause and also encourage his colleagues in this direction.
It is noteworthy that during the National Productivity Week running from 12th to 18th February, the Industrial Engineering Department (IED) team of the company will motivate the employees towards increasing the productivity through various programs in all the coal fields and units. Productivity Week is being celebrated with enthusiasm in all the units of NCL.
