NHPC conducts Covid–19 test camp at NHPC Corporate Office
NHPC organized Covid-19 testing camp at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad on 12th May 2021
New Delhi: In line with call for fight against Covid-19 by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi and as per directions of Shri R.K. Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) (Power and New & Renewable Energy) & Minister of State (Skill Development and Entrepreneurship), Government of India, NHPC organized Covid-19 testing camp at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad on 12th May 2021.
A total of 52 people including employees, family members and contract staff underwent RT-PCR test during the camp. The camp was organized for employees and family members of NHPC and also MOP, MNRE & CPSUs/ Organizations under MOP/MNRE. The contract workers and security engaged by NHPC also benefitted from the camp. Ministry of Power, Govt. of India has made NHPC the nodal agency for arranging Covid testing for all CPSUs and other organizations under the Ministry of Power in Delhi and NCR region.
The testing was conducted by NHPC Medical Division in association with Dr Lal PathLabs. The Covid testing camps are being carried out with full safety precautions and following guidelines.
