NHPC inviting E-Tender for execution of 500 MW Dugar Hydro Electric Project

New Delhi: Online electronic bids are invited for and on behalf of NHPC Limited, Faridabad hereinafter referred to as "the Owner" through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) in Single-Stage -Two-Part Bidding basis (i.e. Part-I: QR + Technical- Bid and Part-II: Financial Bid) with e Reverse Auction (e-RA) from eligible bidders for "EPC Contract for the execution of 500 MW Dugar Hydro Electric Project located at Luj village in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, India"

The Complete bid document can be downloaded and submitted through the portal https://eprocure.gov.in/eprocure/app. The site can also be viewed through the e-procurement corner of the NHPC website www.nhpcindia.com and CPP Portal.

The last date of submission of online bids is 14.03.2022.

The date and time for e-Reverse Auction shall be intimated separately by NHPC. For further details, please visit https://eprocure.gov.in/eprocure/app. Subsequent amendments, if any, shall be posted only on the aforesaid websites.

About Project: Dugar Hydroelectric Project is a run of the river scheme proposed along the river Chenab in Pangi Valley, Himachal Pradesh. Chenab River enters Pangi valley of Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh near Bhujind and leaves the district at SansariNala to enter Paddar valley of Kashmir. The sources of runoff in the Chenab basin are both rain and snowmelt. Chenab is the sub-basin of Indus River System.

Dugar HE Project is a greenfield project and the project site lies between the Sachkhas HEP (267 MW) at its upstream (in Himachal Pradesh) and the Kirthai-I HEP (390 MW) at downstream (in UT of J&K).

The project is 128 m high from the deepest foundation level, Concrete Gravity Dam. The estimated Project Cost is Rs. 3920.43 Crores
