NSDC Names Arunkumar Pillai as New CEO to Advance India’s Skilling Mission

NEW DELHI: The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has announced the appointment of Mr. Arunkumar Pillai as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant step in strengthening leadership as India’s skilling ecosystem prepares for its next phase of expansion and international engagement.

Mr. Pillai brings extensive experience in policy development, institution-building, and industry-linked skill initiatives. He is tasked with driving outcome-oriented programs, enhancing the quality of skilling efforts, and positioning NSDC as a catalytic public–private platform to prepare the workforce with future-ready skills.
