By pressing one button, the safety observer can verbally report a safety observation in Hindi. The system then converts the spoken words into text displayed in the Devanagari script. Pressing the save button stores the recorded observation, making the system immediately ready for the next entry. This streamlined process ensures quick and accurate documentation of safety issues, promoting a safer work environment. Shri K. C. Muraleedharan highlighted the importance of this initiative, stating, "The introduction of the Safety Observation Kiosk marks a significant milestone in our continuous efforts to enhance workplace safety. This system not only simplifies the process of reporting safety observations but also ensures timely and efficient handling of safety issues."

The recorded observations are accessible to the safety department and other designated monitors directly from their desktops, enabling real-time monitoring and prompt response to potential safety concerns.
